A plugin inside the store goes down with it.
Checkout monitors that run as a plugin share your server, your PHP and your updates. When an update breaks the store, they often break too, and the alert never comes. Watch runs on our own server and sees what your customers see.

Does it place orders?
No. It adds one product to a cart and opens the checkout page, then stops. It never fills in the form or presses the place-order button, so there are no test orders and your stock doesn’t change.
What happens when something breaks?
You get an email that says what failed and where. Fix it yourself, or reply and we’ll quote a fixed price to fix it for you. See the store fix.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs from outside, from the public pages any visitor sees.
What if my store only sells products with options?
The robot picks the first option of each choice, like a shopper would. If your store needs something it can’t do, we’ll ask you for one product it can use.
How do I cancel?
Reply to any of our emails and we stop. No contract. If you do nothing after the 14 free days, we simply stop checking.
