For WooCommerce stores / Speed fix
A faster store on mobile, with checkout untouched.
We make your WooCommerce store load faster on phones. The work happens on a staging copy, the checkout is tested before and after, and you get a report with the before and after numbers.
Paid up front, one store, no subscription. If your home page’s mobile PageSpeed score doesn’t go up, you get a full refund.
Speed fix, one store
£199or $249 for US stores. One-off.
- All changes made on a staging copy first
- Checkout tested before and after
- Mobile PageSpeed before and after on your home page, a product and a category
- Full refund if the home page’s mobile score doesn’t go up
01 / What we do
The usual reasons a WooCommerce store is slow, fixed one by one.
Most of the time goes on the same few things. We fix them on a copy, check the checkout still takes orders, then make the same changes on the live store.
- Images. Resized to what a phone needs and served in a modern format.
- Lazy loading. Images further down the page load when the shopper scrolls to them.
- Render-blocking scripts. Scripts and styles that hold the page back are deferred or moved.
- Plugin files where they aren’t needed. A contact-form or slider plugin stops loading its files on every page.
- Page cache. Set up with the cart, checkout and my account pages left out, so shoppers never see someone else’s basket.
- Database clean-up. Old revisions, expired temporary data and leftovers from removed plugins.
- PHP version. Moved to a current, faster PHP release where your host allows it.
- Checkout. Add to cart, the checkout page and a test order where the payment method allows it, before and after.
- Report. What we changed, and mobile PageSpeed before and after on the home page, a product and a category.
02 / Why WooCommerce
WooCommerce stores are usually the slow ones on mobile.
A WooCommerce store is fast or slow depending on its host, theme and plugins. Most were never tuned after launch.
| Figure | Source |
|---|---|
| 35% of WooCommerce sites pass Google’s Core Web Vitals on mobile, against 76% of Shopify sites. | HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025 |
| A mobile site 0.1 s faster went with 8.4% more conversions for retail sites. | Deloitte for Google, “Milliseconds Make Millions”, 2020 |
| Google counts a page as good when the main content shows within 2.5 s for 3 in 4 visits. | Google, Core Web Vitals |
The free report below uses the same data Google publishes about your store: real Chrome visits over the last 28 days where Google has enough of them, and a test load where it doesn’t.
03 / How it starts
Pay, then we email you within one working day.
- Access. You create a temporary admin account for us and delete it afterwards, or give us your host’s staging.
- No passwords by email. We never ask for card details or your own password by email.
- Live at a quiet hour. The changes go to the live store once the copy passes, and the checkout is checked again. If anything is off, we roll back.
- Afterwards, if you like. Care at £39 / $49 a month per store keeps it fast: every update tested on a copy first, checkout checked after. Or Tadrik Watch at $19 / £15 a month tells you when the store slows down or checkout breaks.
04 / Questions
Straight answers.
Why not just install a caching plugin?
A caching plugin helps, but set up wrongly it caches the cart and checkout too. Then shoppers see the wrong basket or can’t pay. We set the cache up with those pages left out and test checkout after. Caching also leaves the images, scripts and plugin files as heavy as before.
What if my store is already fast?
The free report will say so, and you pay nothing. We only suggest the fix when the numbers show it’s slow.
Is this safe?
All the work happens on a staging copy first. The live store changes only once the copy passes the checkout test, and we roll back if anything is off afterwards.
Why did you email me?
Google publishes speed data for sites that get enough Chrome visits. Our email quoted Google’s number for your store, so you can check it yourself at PageSpeed Insights.
What happens afterwards?
New plugins, theme updates and new images can slow a store down again. Care (£39 / $49 a month) keeps it updated and fast; Watch ($19 / £15 a month) watches it from outside and tells you when something changes.
