A returns portal for WooCommerce: customers ask for a return in a few clicks, you approve it, and the refund is made when the items arrive.

== Description ==

Returns by email are slow for you and for your customers: which order, which item, why, where to send it, and did the refund go out? Tadrik Returns puts all of that in one form on your site and one list in WooCommerce.

Customers open your Returns page (or click "Return items" next to an order in My Account), enter their order number and email, pick the items and quantities, choose a reason and send the request. You approve or reject it, and when the parcel is back you click "Mark received". The plugin refunds the returned lines on the order (through the payment gateway when it supports refunds), puts the items back in stock and emails the customer at every step.

**In this version**

* A Returns page with the `[tadrik_returns]` shortcode, created for you on activation.
* Guest lookup by order number and billing email; logged-in customers get a "Return items" button in My Account > Orders.
* Rules: return window in days from completion, categories that cannot be returned, your own list of reasons, optional photo upload.
* Statuses: requested, approved, received, resolved or rejected, with a history on each request.
* On "received": a WooCommerce refund for the returned lines (tax included), sent to the payment gateway when it supports automatic refunds, with optional restocking.
* Emails to the customer at each step and to you on every new request, in your WooCommerce email template.
* Optional return label address emailed on approval, with the order and return number filled in.
* A report with your return rate, the most returned products and the amount refunded.
* Works with WooCommerce order storage in its own tables (HPOS).

== Installation ==

1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
2. Under Plugins > Add New, search for "Tadrik Returns", then install and activate it. Or upload the zip under Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
3. Open WooCommerce > Returns > Settings, set your return window and reasons, and link your Returns page from your footer or order emails.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Which orders can be returned? =

Completed orders within the return window you set (30 days by default; 0 means no limit). Items in excluded categories and units already returned or refunded are not offered.

= Does the refund go back to the card? =

When the order's payment gateway supports automatic refunds (Stripe, PayPal and most card gateways do), yes. Otherwise the refund is recorded on the order and you pay it back the way you normally would.

= How does a guest prove the order is theirs? =

They need both the order number and the billing email of the order. After that, the form is tied to the order's private key.

= What happens if I delete it? =

Deleting the plugin removes its settings. Return requests stay in the database as a record, and your orders and refunds are not touched.

== External services ==

This plugin doesn't connect to any outside service. Refunds go through the payment gateway already set up on the order, and emails are sent with your site's own mail.
